BOOKING & SERVICE PROCESS

We will be in contact via mail, where I will solve all the doubts that are coming up.

When you are determined:

 

PRE-SESSION MEETING: 

As I said, with my sessions, my goal is to get the essence of each person and that is achieved knowing and knowing what kind of photos you want, etc., that way we can design your session. This meeting takes place one or two weeks before the session. It is the perfect moment to transmit everything you are looking for in the session, if there is a specific photo that you would especially like, if you have seen some kind of session that you like and that fits with you… Maternity is very unique to the individual, so I will discuss with you the options and different styles and poses  and what you are comfortable with at your pre consultation.

Finally, if you feel that I am what you were looking for, we will also set the date of the session after payment of the Session Fee (I have enclosed document of prices).

 

SESSION: 

The session lasts between an hour and a half and two hours, depending on how do you feel.

 

ONLINE GALLERY: 

As soon as the images are ready (2-3 days after) I will enable for you, a private password protected online gallery where you can see the photos (with big and translucent MEyouWE watermark), and make your final selection.

 

SELECTION: 

When you make your decision you can tell me your chosen images (via email or wechat) 

and make the payment of the same (via WeChat or Alipay). 

Then I will work on them and prepare your files , albums…whatever you chose.

FINAL MEETING: 

In this meeting I will give you your lovely pictures!!

 

 

 

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE:

(Depends on your Gift Card, it could be "The Box" or "The Book")

THE BOX

This lovely box contains:

-A USB with 10 images you chose in two different qualities.(HIGH RESOLUTION so you can print them in your favorite printshop and as many times as you want, and LOW RESOLUTION, so you can use them through electronic devices)

-20 prints (5x7”)

 

THE BOOK

This special book of your memories 

has linen fabric covers and 20 pages (with 20-30 images you chose).

After becoming a mommy I’m restarting my activity slowly so I´d book only 3/4 sessions per month.

ABOUT SESSIONS

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN CAMERA OR USE MY CELLPHONE TO TAKE PICTURES DURING THE PHOTO SHOOTING?

I can understand that we are living in the age of technologies, and everybody have a phone in their pocket but you’ve contracted me to do it so relax and enjoy the session time! So I´m sorry, taking photos during the photo shooting is not allowed.

 

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

Photography, for me, is to capture exactly who you are, your essence. I look for natural moments, so instead of posing, I will usually direct you to be yourselves. I will invite you to play and it will be a natural and relaxed process. That's why I like to meet you before the session, because that's where I can know how to guide you.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU NEED TO  BOOK THE SESSIONS?

Good for you for thinking ahead! Of course, the earlier you book, greater change to choose your date. Normally you can book up anywhere from months in advance to a few weeks in advance, but you will depend on workload but for Pregnancy, for example, is necessary to book in advanced to be organized.

How do I schedule my First Hours or Newborn photo sessions when I don’t know when the baby will be born?

Don´t worry! Just tell me your estimated due date and then I’ll block off some time around that. When your baby finally is here, contact me as soon as possible and we will set a specific time for hospital first hours session or specific date for newborn´s from there. The MOST important thing, however, is to book your session as soon as possible WHILE you’re pregnant. If you are really interested in my newborn experience, please don’t wait until your baby is born.

 

HOW LONG DOES THIS PROCESS TAKE?

All depends on what kind of result you want and, of course, printing time. From beginning to the end,  the process for a regular MEyouWE´s photo session can actually last around one month, depending on your schedule and my workload. It’s definitely an investment of time, but the final results are well worth it. Here’s a timeline for a typical session:

PRE-SESSION MEETING: (2 weeks before session) Time for planning, getting ready for the session, reserving your date and solving questions

THE SESSION: The session time depends on what kind of session you booked. 

PRIVATE GALLERY: 2-3 days after the session – your private gallery will be available until you choose your favorites.

EDITING TIME: during 2-3 weeks I will edit and prepare your files, prints and/or album*. 

FINAL MEETING: Finally I will give you your lovely box or book! 

 

*Please, note that the printing time depends on the supplier therefore MEyouWE Photography will not make a refund for delay

 

 

CAN WE SCHEDULE OUR PHOTO SESSION FOR THE WEEKEND?

Of course!! 

 

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Unfortunately, most of the time we will have to reschedule. If the session is at your home or at other indoor location, we can sometimes work with the light inside despite the nastiness outside. If the session is outdoors, we will re-schedule your photo session.

 

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RESCHEDULING?

Life happens and I understand, appreciate and accept the unexpected. So if something unavoidable arises, we can re-schedule your session.All efforts will be made to re-schedule your appointment as soon as possible but your new date will be subject to availability.

Please remember that we can re-schedule but session fees are non-refundable.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE INCLUDED IN A FAMILY SESSION?

At this point, most of my sessions include members of the same immediate family only (ie. parents, plus children, plus pets).

 

I HAVE SPECIFIC POSES IN MIND….

That´s great! I´m more than open to listen you and try it if it´s viable! Prepare all your suggestions!

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Clothes are one of the important elements in your photo session. Colors, textures and accessories will add personality to your photo session. To get inspired about color palette combinations, season outfits… you can visit MEyouWE Pinterest´s clothes board. If you still  need some help, you can certainly give me a call or I can look over all the clothing options at the session itself to help you to decide which outfits will look better on you and will fit better for your images.

I can provide clothes and accessories for pregnancy, newborn and cake smash sessions.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES?

No, sorry.

 

DO YOU COVER EVENTS?

The only events I cover are Kids parties.

ABOUT POST PRODUCTION

 

DO YOU TOUCH UP ALL THE IMAGES IN OUR IMAGE DOWNLOAD?

Yes I do. Every image I deliver is post produced with my style of post production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments and tone-mapping. For skin and physical touch ups (blemishes, bags under eyes, fly-away hairs) you can ask for this service in our ordering meeting.

 

IMAGE DOWNLOAD AND LEGAL

 

DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. I only deliver the best ones.

 

 

WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL PRINTS?

You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of MEyouWE Photography. I do not give you copyright permission which would give you ownership of the “images”. The images are the product of my artistic and creative self. Similar to you having a copy of your favorite song, but singer/writer holds the copyright. The print release is for your use in your immediate family.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE THE RAW FILES FROM MY SESSION?

I do not provide RAW files from my shoots because I believe in delivering a finished product. Each of my sessions comes with a high resolution image download.

 

WHAT IF I LOSE MY IMAGES?

MEyouWE Photography archives your files for 2 years but there is a 500RMB replacement charge for additional downloads after the event has been archived. I strongly suggest you to make at least one copy of the download when you receive it.

 

ABOUT PAYMENT

 

HOW DO I BOOK MY DATE?

All dates are reserved once you paid the Session Fee.

 

IF WE CANCEL THE PHOTO SESSION, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR RETAINER SESSION FEE BACK?

Unfortunately no. Session fee is used to reserve your date. Once we’ve reserved your date, I do not accept new clients for your date.

 

ARE THERE TRAVEL FEES?

All travel expenses includes transport, meals and provide adequate compensation for the additional time spent in travel.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANY PACKAGES OR DISCOUNTS?

The way to enjoy discounts is becoming a loyal customer. MEyouWE Photography also offers temporary promotions only available in Suzhou (SIP). The way to don´t miss our promotions is following MEyouWE on Facebook, Instagram or Wechat.
